Windows 10: I can not connect to all drives on my server PC. Some will connect, others will not

I have been trying to stream on my iOS iPhone, also my Samsung Android tablet from drives on my LAN PC server (Wirelessly).


I had just accepted the fact that some of the local drives on the PC just would not connect from my devices. For instance:

Drive D: --> Connects flawlessly

Drive E: --> Connects flawlessly

Drive F: --> Connects flawlesslyDrive G: --> Connects flawlessly

Drive H: --> Connects flawlessly

Drive J: --> DOES NOT CONNECT

Drive L: --> DOES NOT CONNECT

From a Windows 10 Dell PC (client), trying to connect on the network drive J and L (on the server PC) the error message is:

"An error occurred reading folder:

Not enough server memory resources are available to process

this command. (1130)"

(The suggested registry solution "IRPStackSize" hack does not work)


I have the same problem on my other HP PC, I can connect to some drives, some I can't.

However let's focus on this PC server since I believe solving this problem will apply to the other one


Here is the server info:

Windows 10 Pro

Version: 10.0.17763 Build 17763

LENOVO ThinkCentre M900


**The connection problem is not limited to iOS and Android devices connection to the server. The above problem drives replicate when connecting from my Dell laptop (client).


**Both drives that DO NOT connect on this PC (J:, L are Western Digital. J=2Tb My Passport L=10Tb Elements. (For information, one of the drives on my other PC that do NOT connect is S: Seagate Backup Plus Drive 4Tb) All properties in the Sharing and Security tabs for EVERY shared are identical


**I have re-assigned drive letters for all drives with no success. These two drives simply will not connect.


**I have set each drive to "Share This Folder" to UNSHARED, Then reboot, then set the SHARED, then reboot... Still no connect.


**I have tried all the usual solutions suggested in the forums, including IRPStackSize increase in the registry.. No success


**I have compared all the share permissions for every drive and they are all identical


**I have tried Enabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the Adapter Settings (Enable LMHOSTS Lookup Checked AND Unchecked)


**I have tried countless other things suggested on the Microsoft forums for problems similar to mine


**I have unplugged all USB drives, re-plugging them into different USB ports directly into the PC and Anker hub, switching them up.


**I have rebooted after every attempt to solve this


**I have created a new user with administrator rights and miraculously I am able to connect to a drive previously I was not able to connect to, still drive :J and drive L: are still unreachable. So, this mystery is not solved


**I have unplugged my router and Comcast modem to reset.


I have stressed over this for weeks. I am completely perplexed on why some drives WILL connect, some drives WILL NOT connect. I have always been able to find solutions, even solve complex networking and sharing problems... I am not a novice, but the solution to this problem is completely beyond me.


If ANYBODY has some insight other than the usual suggestions in the forums. At his point, I am completely convinced that Windows 10 has flaws and bugs that I can do nothing about. Please help.

Xbox App "Server Connectivity" "Blocked"

Unable to connect to Google servers

There are cases that web content are blocked due to proxy server settings. We suggest that you remove the check mark on the the proxy server box, follow the steps below:

• Type Internet Options in the Ask me anything bar.
• Click on Connections tab.
• Click on LAN settings.
• Remove check in Proxy server box.
  

Once done, access your Google apps and check if issue persist.

Need help with connecting external pc to used for raid storage

Basically I want to set up raid in a separate pc to be used only for the hard drives.

But I don't know how I would best connect this raid setup into my computer.

• Do I use a NIC card to gigabit over multiple channels?
• Or perhaps a really long sata III cable?
• I don't want to connect it over the network. I just want to directly connect it.

Goals:

• Access data quick
• Keep hard drives external to PC
• Ease of use
• Keep costs down (hence DIY PC instead of prebuilt NAS)
• Expandability (hence DIY PC instead of prebuilt NAS)

How do I do this?
