I can see Devices, but Cannot Open Networked Devices

I recently installed Windows 10 on a laptop. I have a bunch of computers on the network to include a WD MyCloud and a shared printer. The Win 10 computer can 'see' the devices in Network file explorer. When I attempt to open a computer or the MyCloud, I get an error message that the device cannot be found. But, printing to a standalone networked IP printer works fine. Also, printing to a printer hosted on an iMac acting as a print server works fine, too.

I tried connecting from two PCs on Windows 7 and they can see and open the other computers and MyCloud without any problems. I logged into MyCloud's website and the drive is visible from outside the router. I did restart router and other network equipment a few times just in case.

Something with the Win10 settings I am sure - I tried turning file and print sharing under Advanced Network Settings On and Off and still no access. I turned the firewall and virus software off, still no access. Why can the PC show me all the icons along with their network names, but I cannot open anything?

    :)

  2. cannot see any devices on account but says limit is reached?

It says the limit for devices has been reached, but when I go into the account to remove devices, it says there are no devices on this account?

  3. cannot see any devices on account but says limit is reached?

Hi Ann. I I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

It seems like if there's no devices that it might pertain to queued Downloads in Store app. See the fix here which has worked for others:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
