Discus and support I cannot create a PIN in Windows Hello because the window is beneath spining wheel in Windows Hello & Lockscreen to solve the problem; Hello I disconnect from local AD and join AAD, then log into my AAD account.     Hello

    I disconnect from local AD and join AAD, then log into my AAD account. Then I got a message to create a PIN code although I disabled this option in Intune then a spinning wheel appeared and the window to create a PIN is under the wheel. How can I fix that? or disable completly this feature?

    Windows 10 includes multiple options to sign-in to your account, including the ability to sign-in using a PIN and Windows Hello, which uses facial recognition. For us to provide a solution suited to your concern, we need additional information. Can
    you answer the questions below?

    • How are you setting the PIN and Hello?
    • Which build version of Windows is your PC running on?
    • Were there any error codes or messages?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to set up PIN.

    • Open Settings.
    • Select Accounts.
    • Click Sign-in options.
    • Click the Add button for the PIN and set your PIN.
    • Do the same for the Windows Hello.

    trying to create hello windows pin but windows 10 is hanging

    So have been trying to create a Hello Windows pin but the wheel kept going round and round

    Took some advice from another thread and disconnected from Internet before shutting down

    Still no joy

    Then took more advice and went into settings / accounts / sign in options and selected windows pin

    selected to create the windows pin - cannot remember quite what the options were

    Still no joy - Wheel spinning round and Windows still hanging

    Tried to go into accounts / sign in options / Windows hello pin / create pin again and was about to shut down again when I noticed that while this window was spinning round - another icon / window had appeared on the task bar

    Clicked on that and low and behold... there was the pin window - entered in my chosen pin and confirmed and this time it failed

    But was waiting for the icon / new window to appear on taskbar and sure enough it did so entered pin and confirmation and bingo - done dusted

    So for any others out there having this problem - hope this helps
