Windows 10: I cannot get the Realtek HD audio manager to reinstall in build 1903

I have seen various posts about builds killing the Realtek audio drivers. My problem is that I upgrade to build 1903 the driver run sound is there but the Realtek HD Manager is gone from the control panel. I have seen numerous threads elsewhere that suggest how I can get it back, Many of them talk about uninstalling the Realtek audio drive which I have done and rebooting and then reinstalling. NOne of this has worked because after I reboot I get the Realtek drive installed but I have not been able to reinstall the Realtek HD audio manager - I tried from the CAB file both manually and using the DSIM - this failed as well.


Are there any other options apart from waiting until the audio problems with this build get fixed?

External microphone really quiet (Realtek HD Audio-Manager)

I have a problem with the Realtek HD Audio-Manager. I bought a new headset a few days ago. It is working fine on the Playstation, tablet and on my mobile phone. However on my Notebook it is very quiet.

I plugged it in but the I think the Realtek HD Audio-Manager puts the internal microphone and my external microphone into one microphone array (well, that's what at least is showing in the system settings).

So even though I set every audio setting to maximum, the microphone is still very quiet. I also updated the drivers and reinstalled the Realtek HD Audio-Manager.

Once when I deinstalled the Realtek HD Audio-Manager and I tried the troubleshooting it somehow worked fine for a few seconds. But then it reinstalled Realtek HD-Audio-Manager automatically and the microphone was quiet once again.

 

Realtek HD Audio Manager not found after reinstalling drivers to fix audio issue

The Realtek HD Audio Manager is no longer able to run after reinstalling the Realtek audio drivers off of their site.

I have tried re-installing several times to no avail.

When checking the Realtek folder, I have found that neither RAVCpl64 or RtkNGUI64 will run whether I double click, right click open, or right click and run as admin.

Is there a known fix for this or have I somehow disabled HD Audio Manager on this computer?
