Windows 10: I cannot sign in to my school account with my district computer

This morning I had no problems signing in with my new password but now I cant sign in. I have checked like 100 times that I put everything correctly. I tried to do the password reset but they keep saying authentication failed which does not match up because I took a screenshot of my security question so I know how I answered them. I dont think anyone got it because it would have let me know.

Is this a School-Issued Computer? If the computer you're using is owned by the school district, it's likely configured to require you to log in with a school district account. If this is the case, you should not attempt to bypass this login screen without permission from your school's IT department or administration.

If this is a school-issues device, you need to reach out to your school's IT department or administration for assistance. They should be able to provide guidance on how to properly use and access the device.

 

Onedrive asking to sign in to a school account

Hello, A few years ago, I lost access to my school email and had to create a new personal email for windows. My files sync fine with the new email, but once a day, I get a prompt asking me to sign into sharepoint and when I click the button to sign in, the only option I have is for the school account which I don't have access to. I deleted everything that started with Microsoft Office from credential manager that didn't have my personal email in the username field, ran the command C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset to reset onedrive, and uninstalled/reinstalled onedrive to no avail. Does anyone know what I missed here or why my school account is still connected? EDIT: I saw a SSO_POP_User credential that I missed in credential manager. Maybe that will fix it. I just unlinked and link my account and wasn't prompted to sign in; however, when the select an account prompt comes up, the school email appears in the list of options.

Considering this is your school account on your school device, you need to reach out to your school IT department. Microsoft doesn't manage organization account or devices, but your organization does. Hence they can see from Admin Center what could be wrong with your account, such as perhaps your account is locked after several error passwords, etc. In addition, they can reset your account's MFA and unlock your account via Admin Center as well.
