Windows 10: i can't activate windows.

Hello! So I can't activate windows when I try to activate it shows me "We can't activate windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server. Make sure you're connected to your organization's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support person. Error code: 0xC004F074". What should i do so i can activate windows I've tried everything i could do but I always end up doing nothing, please can you help me please?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Could you post a link to the "Clean" install instructions you followed? Or list the steps you took. It sounds like you may have done an upgrade.

What account you log in with has nothing to do with activation. Unless your trying transfer a license to new hardware. You can setup with a local account and Windows will activate. Was Windows 10 previously installed and activated on that PC?

The Product Code is good for 32 bit or 64 bit, its your choice which you use. The only thing locked in is the Edition, Home, Pro etc. You can't activate Home with a Pro key for example.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try the chat as I figured out what happened:

I sometimes take my SSD out of my PC when I go to a different location and want to work on and with stuff that's installed on it. For whatever dumb reason it was decided that if you change hardware Windows tells you it needs to be activated.

Putting my SSD back in my regular PC solved it at that point, but I can't change hardware without the message appearing again. Best of all: Microsoft knows this and suggested some steps to combat it (add account > troubleshoot > changed hardware option)
but these options aren't listed at all when you're in the state where Windows isn't activated.

ps: when you do a reinstall as I mentioned in my original post you can't change from home to pro et vice versa
