Windows 10: I can't change my language hot keys! Microsoft keeps asking me to go online when I am...

To start off, why do most computer/ phone companies remove options from their devices. You expect to get more but instead you get less!


Language hot keys:

I've looked all around the internet but all it gives me is BS, one says to go to control panel and go to language but it isn't even there and I looked in settings there also wasn't any adavanced settings. I looked everywhere and I couldn't find a way to change the hot keys for changing languages which is shift+ alt but I want to change it. sorry for bad english. I am just super annoyed.


Microsoft asking me to go online:

I've already restarted my computer so many times it still asks me to go online even though I am online, my router works perfectly fine and if I was not online I wouldn't be asking this now. I also looked on the internet for this but I guess no one else has this problem?????

The function "Change language bar hot keys " has a bug.

• When did you start encountering the issue?
  
• Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this issue?
  
• Were the hotkeys settings on your Windows 10 computer ever worked before?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you reconfigure your hotkeys settings by setting your key sequence to Not Assigned. To do this refer to the steps below:

• Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Language > Advanced Settings.
  
• Under Switching input methods, select Change language bar hot keys.
  
• Select Between input languages, and then click Change Key Sequence.
  
• Set Switch Keyboard Layout to Not Assigned.
  
• Restart your computer.

Once you're done with the process, you may then proceed to reconfigure your language bar hot keys to your desired settings. You may follow the steps above and select your preferred keyboard layout.

A Hot key for Ukrainian input language does not work.

• When did the Ukrainian language hot key issue start?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• Do you experience the issue when changing the key sequence of Ukrainian language?
• Have you installed the language pack and the basic typing files of the Ukrainian language?
• When you add a language, you will see the language icon beside the time and date. Does the language icon change when you press the hot key for the Ukrainian language?

I suggest you to check if you are able to change the language in the lock screen by following the steps below:

• In the lock screen click on the last icon from the right.
• Select English from the menu.

If this option is not available, in the lock screen, hold the Windows key and use Space bar key to change language.
