  2. Stuck at 60Hz with 1920x1080

So my monitor is ACER NITRO KG272S, i am connected through graphic card Nvidia GeForce GTX1650, my refresh rate was 165hz at 1920x1080 but now i have a problem cause without reason my monitor got black screen then my refresh rate is only at 60Hz at 1920x1080. I got HDMI 2.0 but its not problem cause it worked perfectly with that cable. Right now i only can change to 1680x1020 (1920x1080 isn't available somehow) and if im changing to a custom resolution 1920x1080 it keeps getting into 60Hz. Im also on windows 10. i already installed newest graphic card drivers

  3. Monitor's native resolution is blurry . . 1080p monitor supports 3048x2160?

    Hi all,

I know this is a question for NVIDIA and/or Acer, but I wanted to get some feedback/ideas from here as well.

I have an Acer monitor and an RTX 3060. Today, I installed the latest NVIDIA driver (528.02) and noticed a few things: alt-tabbing from one window to another (like from a game to the web) would take a lot longer than usual and result in a black screen, but the most obvious thing was that my display resolution was set to 3048x2160, which kind of confused me since my monitor is a 1080p monitor. I switched to 1920x1080 (in Windows settings) and the quality of the resolution is noticeably poorer, almost blurry. Yet 1920x1080 is listed as the "recommended" setting.

Anyone might know what's going on? I figured if my monitor is a 1080p monitor it shouldn't go higher than that and, before today, I always assumed the resolution was set to 1920x1080, and never noticed that the screen looked blurry or that text looked washed out.

It's not so much an issue, really, just something that I noticed. I figure the new driver brought the change and I have sent a ticket to NVIDIA, but has anyone else experienced something like this, or have some clue? Basically, why would my monitor's native resolution result in a poor display quality, and why is 3048x2160 even an option for display resolution?

    Regards,

    -Isaid

    I can't change my second monitor to resolution 1080p 1920x1080 with 60hz

    Unable to select 1920x1080 resolution.

After a restart a few days ago my PC is suggesting that 1024x768 @ 60hz is my native resolution.

As I know this is not the case (I have had a 1920x1080 display for years and it has worked perfectly) I used DDU to have a clean install of my gpu drivers (nvidia) and changed and my HDMI cable, but to no avail. Suspiciously, nvidia control panel views my
monitor as connected via DVI, which it is not, and windows is running a generic php driver for it. I have since installed the generic windows flat panel 1920x1080@60hz driver, I was hoping this would fix it but it didn't change a thing.

I have run out of ideas. Anybody have any experience in this bizarre problem?
