  2. Readonly Attribute in windows 10 is not getting removed.

    Hi,

I tried earlier steps discussed by you,

    1. Right-click the folder, then select Properties.
    2. Go to Security tab, then click Advanced.
    3. Click Change to the right of Owner.
    4. Enter Users into the box, then click OK.
    5. Enable the checkbox Replace owner on sub containers and objects, then click Apply.
    6. If prompted that You do not have permissions to read, click Yes.
    7. Completely close out of the Advanced Security Settings dialog.
    8. Repeat step 1.
    9. Go to Security tab, then click Edit.
    10. Select Add.
    11. Enter Users into the box and click OK.
    12. Enable the Full Control checkbox, then click OK.
I get Readonly attribute again after doing all this step.

USB stick previously used as a boot stick for Killdisk not recognized

    Try method 2 under Windows 7 8 10 here:
Free to Remove Readonly Attribute in Windows

Method 2: Clear readonly status with Diskpart

In Windows 10, 8, 7 OS, you are also able to run Diskpart in Command Prompt to clear read-only attribute on any partition on your computer. You can follow the tutorial below:

Step 1. Open Command Line and type Diskpart
    Step 2. Type list disk
Step 3. Type select disk (disk number)
Step 4. Type attributes disk clear readonly

  4. I cant clear readonly attributes on my nvme

My flash drive is write protected... I've run the program "attributes disk clear readonly", but it doesn't work..

    Okay.

This pendrive work correct in my windows 7 laptop. But it happens "USB not recognized" and I can't read anything after pluging in my friend's windows 10 pc. And now I plug it in my windows 10 pc, it can be opened. So I carry some files into my usb, but it
suddenly turns red and says my drive is write protected. So I plug out and replug it again. I just continue copy my file, it got the same problem as above. So I tried to format the drive, but it says this is write protected. Then I open cmd, and clear its
readonly attributes using diskpart. It says attributes readonly cleared succesfuly. But when I hit the "clean" program, it says that there's I/O device error.

So now I can only copy my files when I've just plug in, cause it can't be written after several times and I've to replug it again.
