Windows 10: I cant factory reset my laptop

My computer has a weird problem on most games where it lags every 7 seconds or so. It's not my connection that's the problem so I thought I could factory reset my computer after trying many other things. Except, after resetting my computer so many times and trying everything I can find online, my computer wont factory reset. It will go through the whole resetting process and then say "we couldnt reset your computer" I'm so confused and I dont know what else I can do put post on here. Do you guys know what I can do to fix this?

As you have a laptop, ensure that the laptop is not running on battery and the power cable is plugged in to the socket.

Reset Acer Travelmate to factory settings


Hi all, I have an Acer Travelmate with Win10 (1607), I would like to save Win 10 to a stick, then reset the laptop back to factory settings and then reinstall Win10. There is no program on the laptop that requires saving. Any advice or suggestions, not to technical, would be very much appreciated, thanks Roy
