Windows 10: I can't find about 32GB of storage in File Explorer.

Discus and support I can't find about 32GB of storage in File Explorer. in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; My laptop has 64GB of storage. I can account for about 24GB.     I can't find about 32GB of storage in File Explorer.


    My laptop has 64GB of storage. I can account for about 24GB. File Explorer only shows that I have only 8GB free. Where is the other 32GB of storage?

    Overwrite file location with storage drive (file explorer)

    Tried as suggested, receive some error message.

    File explorer won't write past 32gb on 2tb flashdrive

    I have a 2tb flashdrive. I am unable to write files to it past 32gb. Even though file explorer shows there are files there past 32gb, they are not accessible. How do I get file explorer to write to and read past the 32gb restriction?

    • Since when have you been experiencing this issue?
    • Were there any changes on your PC before this happened like software or updates installed?

    For initial troubleshooting, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below:

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Access this link

      C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
    • Delete all the files.
    • After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.
