Windows 10: I can’t log into my Microsoft account on Pc but can log in everywhere else.

I recently had Microcenter do a clean windows 10 install for me and they gave me the all good. I got home and plugged everything in. The pc is signed in on a local account that is administrator. I clicked on the sign in with Microsoft account instead and proceeded to do the login. However I am met with “this password is incorrect. So I changed the password. Still was given the prompt. I checked on my laptop that the password is right and it logged in. Clearly something is wrong with the PC because I can log into my Microsoft account anywhere else but the PC.

Just simply log in with your Microsoft Account.
Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Just go back to using a local account:
Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

Hopefully the tutorials are step by step enough.

How do I register my PC with my Microsoft account?
But when I'm done, I'd like to use my local account each time to log in.
Please tell me how to do that.
I am very new at Win 10, and need step by step instructions.

• Are you using a Microsoft account to log in?
• Have you tried restarting your PC?
• Can you log in to other user accounts on your computer?
