    I can't open any program


    Hi!


    My name is Beltrán. Today my laptop just got a windows update and, when I turned it on after finishing installing the update, it worked just fine. The problem appeared like 1 or 2 minutes later. I wanted to open Chrome but, when I pressed on the icon, it wouldn't open it. Same thing happened with every other program, except for the start menu or the notifications that still work. So I restarted my computer (by holding the physical button, because I couldn't turn it off from the start menu) and it did the same thing: first it works perfectly, then it stops opening programs. By the way, when the problem starts again, the programs that are alredy open stay open and continue working. One of the times that I restarted the laptop I opened the task manager to see if something going wrong but all the components were in a pretty average usage percentage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
