Windows 10: i cant open urls from most places

I cannot open URL links from anywhere in windows.

Please help.

And that's why I'm wondering how Ford got that url in the first place, since the simpler steps in getting the pdf doesn't produce that url.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

No, I can't. I have just followed the steps you described and the URL did not change. Win10 Pro, 1809, Firefox.

I suggest you try deleting that bad shortcut and creating a new shortcut directly on the Desktop.
