Windows 10: I cant seem to find it in Windows 10 - Can you help me?

There was a built in Windows 10 app that allows you to see certain things running. I cant remember the name of it. I was going to use it to see which USB devices connect & disconnect. It's not the Resource Monitor, or Performance Monitor, not Device manager or Task Manager. I remember searching for it in my Windows 10 search taskbar. It wasn't an added software, It was pre-installed in Windows 10. Anyone know it's name? Thanks

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
