Windows 10: I can't turn on the memory integrity feature in Windows 11.

I can't turn on the memory integrity feature in Windows 11. A screenshot of the error message is below. The offending file is BrUsbSib.sys, which is apparently related to the driver for my Brother MFC-L2710DW printer or at least each time I uninstall and reinstall the driver, there is a new BrUsbSib.sys file listed in the error message. I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled the driver and did a clean boot. However, the problem persists. Also, now both the old and new BrUsbSib.sys are causing the problem even though you would have thought that the uninstall should have removed the o

Enabling Memory Integrity feature?

There should be no difference between Home and Pro for this. Here is Memory Integrity turned on in Windows 11 Home.





As I understand it, it should be on by default in W11. If it is not, then that is usually due to incompatible drivers. To find out, see my post #24 here:

As far as I know, the only difference in Core Isolation between Windows 10 and Windows 11 is that memory integrity off by default in 10 and on by default in 11.

There are a rising number of cases of Memory Integrity recently. Here is what is resolving most cases:

1) Make sure Secure Boot and TPM are enabled to get the full stable Security benefits of Windows 11:

Enabling Memory Integrity feature?

Try turning the Memory Integrity switch on. If you are notified that it cannot be turned on....





Then click on the 'Review incompatible drivers' link that will now have appeared on the Core Isolation page. If, like this laptop of mine with a 4th gen i7, your incompatible driver is already the latest available one, then you won't be able to turn on Memory Integrity.
