Windows 10: I can't upload word documents to my Family Tree Maker.

    I can't upload word documents to my Family Tree Maker.


    I can't upload any word documents to my family tree maker app. I can upload photos and pdf without any problems. This is a new problem since I migrated to a new computer with Windows 10.

    Re-Connecting Family Tree Maker to internet

    When I try to log in from Family Tree Maker 2014 I get the error message that says "There is no connection to the Internet or a firewall is preventing Family Tree Maker from accessing the Internet." I have internet connection, not sure on
    what app I should be listing for the firewall or if I should. Some help would be appreciated please.

    I can't upload word documents to my Family Tree Maker.

    Notepad.exe Accidentally Associated with .sync file in Family Tree Maker 2014.1

    Notepad.exe was accidentally associated with the .sync file in Family Tree Maker 2014.1

    Notepad is now also has associated with other .sync files in iTunes, nVidia, Java and BitDefender.

    I can't get this fixed. A re-install of Family Tree Maker 2014.1 fails because if these file associations.

    RegEdit was used to remove the association for Family Tree Maker but it persists in the folder views.

    Any suggestions?
