I installed a M.2 SATA SSD [Western Digital Blue 250GB], on my laptop. Then I reformated my laptop and used Macrium Reflect to clone it to my SSD. In which I think the process was succesful. However the windows doesn't switch to SSD, which makes me unable to reformat my HDD. I would like any help with this.

Real time SSD cloning to my HDD

    Hi Jakov

May I first ask, currently do you have Windows installed on the SSD and your applications installed on your HDD, or are your applications currently installed on the SSD along with Windows?

As far as I know, if you try to clone your SSD onto that HDD, all data on that HDD will be wiped, I don't think you can clone an SSD onto a partition of another drive . ..

Do you ultimately want to put Windows onto the HDD, just have the one drive on your system and connect your EXP GDC to the the MS port?

    HDD to SSD

I don't understand why you changed the boot order in your BIOS.

When you image or clone an HDD, and restore the image or clone to an SSD, you've got an identical copy of your computer on a different hard drive. Nothing has changed, really. So the next step is to remove the HDD from your computer and replace it with the
SSD, then carry on as normal.
