Windows 10: I created a second email account on Outlook, but now decided against this, so closed the...

Hope that you all are keeping safe during this COVID-19 situation.

Now this may have been asked before, but I cannot find the answer despite careful looking.

I created an additional email on Outlook but this created problems over access to my Microsoft Account.

I closed down the unwanted email on Outlook as it takes 60 days to fully close down unless I access the unwanted email again - which will reactivate it it seems that the problem over access to my Microsoft account is ongoing in that I keep getting a message at bottom right of screen requesting that I "FIX the ACCOUNT" or words very similar.


My question is this


Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so does it last for 60 days until Microsoft finally ? closes the account down fully or is there anything else that I can do to "hurry" the process along please.

outlook account config

SO today my friend asked me if i could post this question on the forum:



He wants to configure a outlook account with 1 email, with that outlook account he wants to run the same account in 2 diferent computers he wants the both computer to be connected in network, for example:

• he receives a email and that email is sent to each computer;
• he deletes a email from one computer and it also deletes on the other;
• he moves a email to a folder it also moves on the other computer;

If you guys can help me would be nice!

Adding Second Email Account to Outlook

Hi Richard,

The Outlook.com supports multiple email account and aliases. How did you add your another account? You may check the steps provided
here. Usually, the second account will appear under the primary account.
If you're getting an error, we suggest that you try re-adding your second email.

Give us an update on the result and we will be glad to assist you further.
