W11 upgrade compatibility issues (despite CPU meeting the stated requirements)

    Thanks for the reply.

Since this is what Microsoft say as compatibility requirement "1 GHz or faster with two or more cores"

And my CPU meets this requirement, it seems to me simply idleness on Microsofts part that they haven't tested it and put it on the list.

Why would there actually be compatibility issues if the CPU meets the minumum requirements?

Windows 11 CPU not supported but meeting minimum requirements

    Hi,

maybe noone can have an easy answer here, but i'd like to know why the CPU I have on a tiny and maybe a bit old computer, an Intel Celeron J1900, which is a quad core CPU running at 2.0GHz is not supported by Windows 11 installer if the minimum CPU requirements to run Windows 11 are a 1.0GHz dual core CPU. And well, looking at the list, I'm pretty sure there are more CPUs in the same state, meeting the requirements, but not on the list, so unable to install Windows 11, even if Windows 10 runs perfectly and most probably Windows 11 will too.

    Regards.

System requirement doesn't meet base CPU speed but meets turbo

So I have a laptop with CPU Intel Core i7-6500U. The specs say that its speed is 2.5GHz and extendable upto 3.1GHz.

    A game's minimum requirement is CPU 2 Duo 2.9GHz.
I tried to run the game but it didn't. Is it because of the CPU speed doesn't meet the requirement at base speed..??

Also, the game showed itself in the processes tab.

Can we manually increase CPU speed..?
