    I EXPERIENCED CATASTROPHIC FAILURE WHILE ENABLING OPTIONAL FEATURES ON WINDOWS 10


    I don't want to get such catastrophic failures in features and more I am requesting to the users , moderators and engineers , to give simple solutions and mention root cause for such failures .


    catastrophics failures occurs in system restore , while enabling builtin optional features etc


    In meanwhile , I am trying to solve different methods to solve catastrophics , many users knows better solutions than me


    NO advice system restore , no reset , no refresh

    The Error 0x8000FFFF: Catastrophic Failure may have occurred due to the recent change on your PC or the issue came from the USB Drive itself. To isolate your concern, we'd like to ask the following:

    • Have you tried to use the USB Drive and create a new folder on a different PC?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to resolve the issue?

    Windows 10: 0X8000FFFF Catastrophic Failure

    On connecting my external hard drive whenever i am trying to create a new folder or even trying to copy or move any file from my pc to my external hard drive i am getting an error message of 0X8000FFF Catastrophic Failure. Please suggest me a solution
    as what should i do now.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
