  1. I feel X drive may be corrupt, so how do I get it cleared?

When the computer is powered on and upon entering DISKPART, it shows an X drive, even without any hard drives attached to the system. Windows 10 will not load without faults and it may take as many a 6 tries to get the files loaded before a fault with hard drives installed. Even using new SSD's it seems like a timer is installed, it takes 1 minute 10 seconds, every time, before a Bad_Object_Header or Reference_By_Pointer or System_Fault. I have installed new Ram, same kind that was in it. The folder that is supposed to hold all the fault codes is no where to be found. Not sure if something hap

  2. Clear Pagefile on Shutdown

I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:
    1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
    2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
    3. Restart Windows.
I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?

  3. topgundcp Win User
Dual Booting 2 x Windows 10 OS Drives (Existing Installs)

It is uneccessary to do all of the above.
    1. Boot up Windows 10
    2. Open Disk Management and take a note of the drive letter of the other Windows 10
    3. Open Admin Command Prompt and type: bcdboot X:\Windows where X is the drive letter noted in step 2
    4. Reboot, you should have a dual boot menu.
