    Hello!

Last month I decided to factory reset my laptop:

Acer Predator Helios 300 running Windows 10 latest update from April.

I went into factory reset setting and as I went to click 'keep my files' my cursor jolted and instead I clicked 'Clean the Drive Fully'

I have no backup for my laptop, I had been meaning to do it but I never got around to doing it. Now when it said on a blue screen all the way up to 60% 'This may take several minutes, system may restart' it restarted once and that was it, it has been doing an endless loop to the point I had even left it for several days.

The laptop starts up as it usually would the 'Predator' loading screen then flicker to black and a second later do the same, this time with the Windows 10 loading circle and yet again flicker to black then briefly go to the same blue screen with writing I can't catch and do the reset all over again.

I've got the idea that it may not even have any drivers or Windows 10 on the laptop anymore.

Please help, I'd imagine this may very well be a professional hand required or is there still hope. What with the worlds Crisis at the moment i'm feeling a little lost as to what to do without causing further damage if at all.

{This part may very well be unrelated

I've had problems also with my CPU, it's loud and whenever the laptop started up and checked predator sense, it would be delayed for a good 30 minutes. I'd leave it and then it goes up to 2500rpm around its' usual speed, until I click CoolBoost then it goes to 500rpm or even stops entirely.

    Thank you in advance, Jo.

    :)

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.

First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

    Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
