Windows 10: I got a blue screen "VIDEO TDR FAILURE"

This morning, I was using my computer when all of a sudden I got a giant blue screen that said "your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart." The stop code read "VIDEO TDR FAILURE." After a quick search online I discovered that this code is often linked to graphics card issues. The Display adapters listed in my device manager are "IntelR UHD Graphics 620" and "NVIDIA GeForce MX150." At the time of the blue screen, I was running a few tabs on Google Chrome with nothing too resource-heavy being present. I've had no trouble playing fairly simple, but often graphics heavy games on this PC such as Minecraft and various emulators. My computer is an Acer Swift 3 that I purchased within the last year.

Blue Screen - Video TDR Failure

Hello

I have had 2 blue screen system failures this morning. Both of them with the message Video TDR Failure. The message advised me to contact support and quote igdkmd64.sys.

The system was installing Windows Updates at the time so that is my prime suspicion. The update that was successfully installed was Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics. It appears twice at the top of the list of updates for some reason.

I keep getting a blue screen saying I have a Video TDR Failure and then it shuts my computer down, what can I do

My OS is windows 10. It happens that when I try to restart the computer from sleep mode, it goes the blue screen with Video TDR failure.

An advise on the problem will be appreciated.
