Windows 10: I have 2 gb hardware reserve in bios but it only show 148 mb in task manager memory...

For gaming i made hardware reserve 2 gb in bios settings but when i checked it on task manager memory management it only show 148 mb ? How to fix this

Help! Crippling amount of memory stuck as hardware reserved

Sorry for the late response. The hardware reserved is in the OS. The Bios seems to be picking up the 4 gbs fine. I'm having trouble pasting a screenshot in safe mode but the Task manager performance tab says 767MB total available memory

 

Too much hardware reserved memory 3.46GB out of 4GB

In task manager, the memory seems to have 553 MB reserved. I've got only 3.46 GB usable memory out of 4 GB.

I've tried in bios, set to a minimum value for graphics as 256MB (only 2 option are there 256 and 512 MB), also unchecked the max memory in the boot (in "msconfig"). Tried some other methods but couldn't
fix it. In other same models, it seems only 81 MB hardware reserved. So why me ???

And also the Task manager shows wrong information since my laptop has 2 memory slots but shows 4 slots instead.

Please, someone, help me to fix this memory problem.

Is it safe to reduce hardware reserved memory from bios my laptop is Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with 8 gb ram 5.9 usable as 2gb hardware reserved memory and l want to reduce it to 0.5gb
