I have 3 mysterious Startup Apps called "Program" - should I worry?

    Hello

If I click on Windows button [bottom left] ==> "Startup Apps" ==>

I seem to have three apps called "Program" and which have no icon.
Worse if I turn them off, then next time I boot they are back again!

How do I find out what they are?
    Should I be worried?

    Thanks

    J

    Windows 10 x64 (version 1909, build 18363.836)

Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.

  3. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
    Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix
