Windows 10: I have a question on Blue screen

Discus and support I have a question on Blue screen in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I have 3 drives, C, D, and E drives. Every now and again I get the BSOD and this last time the error said Bad system config info. I went into repair...     I have a question on Blue screen


    I have 3 drives, C, D, and E drives. Every now and again I get the BSOD and this last time the error said Bad system config info. I went into repair and was going to do a restore but it said I had errors on D drive, ran a scan and it said it was ok. Tried the restore again and it said the D drive had errors ran scan and said no errors. So I just unchecked D to restore and got my pc to boot.

    Question...if my D or E drive is bad would that still cause bootup errors even though their not my main drive? I have ran several scans on those drives and even formatted D drive and no errors come up. Some other error I sometimes get is system service exception. Most of the time these errors pop up when trying to get my PC out of sleep mode. Sometimes the pc doesn't completely go into sleep mode, the monitor shuts off but the pc lights are still on, when it does go into sleep all those lights are off. Then there's times when the pc lights are off but the monitor won't come out of sleep mode.

    Has there been issues with the sleep mode? running 1809 version of windows 10.

    would like to know more about the issue. Please clarify the following:

    • Did you get a STOP code?
    • Did you install any hardware or driver recently?

    Before we proceed I would like you to answer the following question:


    • What is the make and model of your computer?

    • Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
    The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.
