Windows 10: I have an error that get prompt non stop

Hi, i was factory resetting my laptop and it got stuck at 33% for 7 hours. So i thought something was wrong and lookes up for support here, and figured that my reset process was stuck. I then proceeded to follow the instructions to force shut down my laptop and but it up 3 times. Upon doing so, on the last boot up, it was installing windows. While it was installing, it ran into an error and while resolving the error, my laptop just went black and was not doing anything for about 20 minutes. I force shut down my laptop and boot it back on just to see this error and get stuck here all the time. Pictures for reference. If anyone out there could help, i would really appreciate it as i have HBL coming up on monday.

Installation media boots to command prompt

I've just booted from known working install media to see exactly what it does when booting. The sequence of events is...

1. Windows logo on a black screen
2. circling dots appear beneath the logo
3. light blue 'Please wait' screen with circling dots
4. a command prompt window (very briefly)
5. the initial Setup page appears

Do you see steps 1-3? If so, it appears you have stopped at step 4, suggesting that something on the disc cannot be read.

Does the disc boot properly in another machine? If so, try cleaning the laptop's drive lens then try booting from the disc again.

If not, make new install media with Microsoft's Media Creation Tool, either as a bootable USB, on an ISO that you can burn to another disc. At Step 8 in Option One of this tutorial you can choose between making a USB or an ISO.

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

 

How to stop windows 8.1 upgrade prompt

Because at the time I made my first post I didn't know this article existed. Your post made me interested in figuring out exactly how hard it really was to disable the prompt. This article was the first google link I clicked on...

Actually it tells you how to do it via group policy as well. Also, I wouldn't put modifying one key in the registry above the user expertise of the common user on this forum. But if that is too hard there are plenty of google results that walk the user through it step by step or just provide the registry file for you so it is a simple double click and your done. My point was that Microsoft isn't exactly making the information to get rid of the prompt a secret, if they were as evil as you say, they would have made it impossible to disable.

I've got my facts right. Maybe you should check your facts before getting snarky with me again.
