Windows 10: I have an issue with the top Bookmarks*** toolbar. Window 10

*** Is Bookmarks the correct name?

Microsoft recently made changes to this top toolbar. One of the changes added "folder icon Other favourites" to it as shown on the snip below and this is what I now see:





This has drastically reduced the space available, making it impossible at times to drag new threads to the bar. A good example of this is the Mass Spam Reports 17-23 February 2020 thread. I've edited the name to AllSpamFeb23 but there'sstill no space for it on the bar and it disappears into the "Other favourites" folder. But it leaves a huge space as you will see above.


Can I change this please?


PS You'll also see another issue - one of my saved tabs is named "CEO". This is a database of contact details for worldwide CEOs and is very useful for contacting them. The url is https://www.ceoemail.com/. You'll see that there is now a blue '@' and I can't delete the '@'. It didn't show the '@' before the changes were introduced and I'll like to remove it. How do I do this please?

To better assist you regarding bookmarks toolbar in Microsoft Edge, we recommend that you follow these easy quick steps on how to add bookmarks. To do this, follow the steps below:

• Open Microsoft Edge, then on the address bar type a specific website (e.g. www.facebook.com).
• Click the Star button, from the drop-down list select

Firefox Sync Nuked My Bookmarks Toolbar!

With Xmarks going under, I installed the Firefox Sync addon. This morning, my bookmarks toolbar was gone. The folder for it is still in my bookmarks folder, as well as my other bookmarks, but all of the folders and bookmarks I had in my toolbar are missing.

I've been googling around endlessly to try and find a way to restore my sync file to an earlier version. Does anybody know how to do this?

I think I still have my toolbar intact on my desktop. I'll have to pull my ethernet cable before I start it up and do some manual backup trickery to make sure it doesn't nuke those too, but if I could do it more simply, I'd much prefer that.
