Windows 10: I have my mouse set to open files in file explorer with TWO clicks and it randomly opens on 1

Windows 10 I have the setting set to two clicks. I am going through a lot of image files and this is driving me crazy as i have to stop and close the opened file. Does anyone know of a good alternative file management system? I mostly do photo images and need to be able to delete, move, copy, etc. Thanks for any help

mouse right click will not open my file explorer in taskbar

• When you say right click, do you actually mean left click?
• Which all troubleshooting steps have you already tried to resolve this issue?

Left clicking with mouse will open File explorer or any other programs. Whereas right click will give you context menu.

I suggest you to right-click on the File Explorer
on the task bar and select Unpin from Taskbar. Now in the search bar type
File Explorer and right click on it and select Pin it to Taskbar
and check if it helps.

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?

 

Exe file slow to open

A SFX archive isn't going to open right away. The files have to be extracted first. When you are opening it in WinRar, it's not extracting the file, it's just reading it which is why it opens right away.
