Windows 10: I have tried everything, I think this is NEW WEIRD VIRUS

Below is the error information I received. I can not open settings to change anything or get in under admin clearance. I can not download anything either as I tried a paid service with avg to scan computer for virus and wont let me.

New Laptop Might Still Be Infected By Virus. PLEASE HELP!

Symptoms:

Pop up from Nvidia says there's a new driver. When taken to another window and I click download, it says it can't.

User Driver Mode Framework eats up 50% of CPU as seen on Task Mgr

Virus scanner unable to scan

No connectivity when in Safe Mode with Networking

Unable to scan when in Safe Mode with Networking

How virus got in:

Logged into QQ messenger with chinese UI (tencent & kingsoft)

Virus behavior:

Downloaded 5 more programs that took over recycle bin, music files,

Steps previously taken:

Tried to uninstall from Control Panel but was unable to

Tried to end task but was unable to

Tried following steps here:

Took PC to service center from place bought:

Used Ninite to uninstall all chinese programs

Went home but saw Kingsoft, Tencent & QQ folders in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

Hit OneKey Recovery

Updated Office 365

Updated Windows OS

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thinking about Going back to Win8.1

If want to disable IE, still can. However, can't uninstall it like were able to in XP/98/whatever.
Here's how, although I find it useful in case Chrome or Firefox stops working and have to re-download it. *Wink
1. Search for turn windows features on or off and click it in the search results.

2. When the app opens, uncheck Internet Explorer 11.

3. Click Yes on the warning dialog.

4. Click OK.

5. Restart for the changes to finish.
