  2. PC Health Check for WIndows 11 update

PC Health Check is saying that my processor (correctly identified as Intel Core i5-7200U) isn't supported, but the list of supported CPUs for update from Windows 10 but the list of supported CPUs for Windows 21H2 on the Microsoft web site includes it. What can I do to resolve this?

  3. Intel® Core™ i5-5200U support Windows 11

    Hello.

It seems to me that the Intel® Core ™ i5-5200U meets the requirements of Windows 11. Why can't I upgrade Windows 10 to 11? All parameters match, but it is indicated that the processor is not supported.

    Intel® Core™ i5-5200U support Windows 11

    Hello RolandsRubiķis,

Good day! I'm John and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

The minimum system requirements for Windows 11 is at least 8th Gen processors (except for very few 7th Gen processors). This is to meet Microsoft principles about security and reliability.

I'm sorry, i5-5200U is not on the list of Windows 11 supported Intel processors.

There has been no new announcement from Microsoft yet if they plan to add more processors to the list. I recommend reaching out to your Original Equipment Manufacturer as they will be able to provide you with information regarding any options you may have for upgrading your device's current processor.

You may need to consider using Windows 10 as it continues to be a great version of Windows. Microsoft is committed to supporting Windows 10 through October 14, 2025.

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Kind regards,
