Windows 10: I keep getting a side by side error every time i try to download and install something,...

I've tried everything such as re-installing windows, redownloading the C++ things, both 64x and 86x, even went into the files and reinstalled the apps I'm trying to download, I did the 'sfc /scannow' in command prompt, but nothing seems to be working, it worked once when i factory reset my computer but then after a day it went back.

Install the DX 9c Winter 2005 install of DX9.

Reinstall your video card driver(you might get away with skipping this step, if not you gotta start over)

Now re-install the game. DO NOT let it install DX9 on your computer for you.

Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

I'd suggest installing the latest directX.

Other than that, weird errors like that would make me want to format too.
