Windows 10: I left my pc to update and came back an hour later and saw that nothing was on

When i was using my pc i noticed a yellow indicator in the taskbar telling me that i need an update and i was ablut to go eat dinner so i figured i could let it update while i was eating

I pressed “update now” and left. When i came back, my pc was completely shut off but my monitor is still on. I tried unplugging the cable to from the power supply to the outlet. I tried plugging it in into an outlet that 100% worked. I tried everything and it just doesnt turn on anymore.

Everything was working perfectly fine before the update and now it just doesnt turn on at all.
Can someone please respond soon i would really really appreciate. I need it for school. Thank you

Updates - Trying to resolve 1 Problem brings up another. And another

Somehow I don't think this in-place repair install did anything. I saw it go through all the steps shown in the tutorial, and then I left the room. When I came back an hour later the tower was shut down. The power options are set to never sleep, so that seems ominous. Restarting, then doing the Windows+I, going to updates and checking the update history showed that everything listed on that screen for this day had failed. I really don't know if this was updates Windows decided to do on its own, or if these are from the repair install. The event log seems to be riddled with error messages, most of which I don't understand..

 

Duplicated folder on LEFT column of This Pc

I don't think this is the same; I know that after every major upgrade I have to edit the registry to get rid of the duplicated fixed hard drives shown BELOW This PC. Look at my screen shot - the RIGHT side Folders are just as wanted. The LEFT however has a spurious F:\ entry - which is my Videos folder, also listed on the Left. Both point correctly to my videos folder. I don't want the spurious F:\ entry, assume it came about when moving my Videos from their default location on to a seperate drive of their own - as I have done fine with my Music folder as well. Thanks regardless, and if anyone has any other thoughts or suggestions. For example, is the This PC layout defined in the registry, and if so where. I assume it is, given the messing around with duplicate entries already mentioned.
