I log into my PC with a local account but added a O365 account from a trial and cannot... 3TpUjJTICP2Vpeu_8NC2Am9Ta2n8XBcK__ZmQtCZEAo.jpg

Hi everyone, I use a local login on my PC I do not use a Microsoft account. Under Accounts in settings it shows I have 2 "Accounts used by other apps", with one being a trial I did of Office365 showing my email @ my domain saying Work or School Account, and the 2nd is my @outlook.com personal one. I never bought Office365 and kept G Suite, but for months now I'm never able to login to my business partner's Office365 email account as it always says something went wrong or gives some kind of error as it INSISTS on trying to log me in as this stupid trial account I had. Even if I manage to get to an Office 365 login screen in Chrome or Edge and type in my actual Office365 email address it just says "Something went wrong I log into my PC with a local account but added a O365 account from a trial and cannot... :(" and shows this dumb trial email account instead.

When I click Manage on it, it goes to a Profile page online, but there's no "Delete" button there like Microsoft help says there should be. How do I properly remove this completely from my PC as it's insanely annoying that I can't log into any actual Office365 account now as it constantly wants to use this account, even if I go incognito. The screenshot below shows the account I mean:

This is all I see when clicking Manage. Clicking Sign out everywhere didn't help and doesn't answer anyway how to fully remove this old trial account from my PC:

  2. RDC to local computer using O365 accounts and MFA

    Context:

    • I was doing this before MFA was enabled, the moment MFA was turned on, I was kicked from the local RDC and cannot log back into the RDC
    • All accounts are O365
    • Both Computers are AD joined, and on windows 10 enterprise
    • We do not have or use an RDG, NPS or MFA server ( Azure or otherwise )
    • I can use MFA everywhere else just fine ( Teams, SFB, Office, Outlook, etc )
    • I just want to multitask across computers on the same network..

Googling only returns results like: this

I've tried using app passwords which worked for my 'Skype for Business' problem..

I've tried using the security device credential.

I can RDC using the local Admin account ( not o365 ), and that spits me to the signin page. Wherein have the ability to use the Device Security Credential. But then it just says that the DSC is incorrect. ( plus, it's just a workaround )

Is there a way for me to RDC across my local network, using O365 accounts, while MFA is turned on?

  3. Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

Can't login to O365 home after migration Windows local account to domain

I used O365 home on my PC. For the tests I created a domain on my private server based on Win 2016 Datacenter. Then I connect my PC computer (win 10 pro) to the domain.

Then I migrated an user account from local one to the domain. And pufff... all applications works well (even OneDrive) besides O 365 apps (Excell, Word, Outlook, Onenote, etc.).

The trouble is: when I try to login to O365 account, when I put the password, than nothing happend. No error message, no nothing. Off course I am not logged in.

I removed and re-install office package, I made a fast repair of O365 package, i created new profile in control panel > Mail and deleted old one, I flushed local DNS history, and nothing I log into my PC with a local account but added a O365 account from a trial and cannot... :(

    Any suggestions?
