Windows 10: I lost my lifetime license from technical preview

I have windows 10 since 2014 when it was technical preview. Microsoft made an announcement that people like me will have a lifetime license as insider preview. Can this be lost? until now the windows turn on alone when I log in but now it does not happen again.

MS doesn't take any feedback or suggestions about Office 2016 at the moment, it is listed under "Non-feedback Product" category:




On the Connect homepage you can check the lists of products accepting bug reports and / or suggestions, Office is not on those lists:

Hi Nicu. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP here to help you.

Actually, they announced before RTM that only those who'd Upgraded from WIndows 7, 8 or 8.1 would be permanently activated with the Digital License. All others remained with the last build activation only, inluding those who'd Clean Installed interrupting the
in-place Upgrade path.

We dealt with this a lot after RTM, helping previewers sort out if they had permanent Digital License or just the last preview build activation. If the latter, they could go back to Windows 7 or 8.1 to in-place Upgrade to get the Digital LIcense if necessary.

Unfortunately the free Upgrade period ended 3 years ago, but we still hear that some are able to activate an in-place Windows 7, 8.1 Upgrade or Clean Install afterwards with the old OS Product key So it might be worth trying since they would not have left this
feature enabled if they didn't intend for it to be used.
