  2. Context Menu - Open With (Windows Suggested List)

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 22H2 Diagram 'A' shows Windows' suggested programs Diagram 'B' shows the extended list I have been trying to edit the context menu's "Open with" list of Windows' suggested programs for the .mp3 extension. I'm not talking about the extended list, but rather the programs that first appear 'before' the "choose another app" option. If you look at Diagram 'A' you will see the preliminary list generated by Windows, this is the list I am looking to modify. I have an .mp3 editor named Goldwave that I use for editing audio files, however, I do not want to change the preliminary program Windows uses to open .mp3s. My .mp3s should remain assigned to Winamp Player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to add a Print command directly onto windows explorer primary right click context menu ...

I want to use the registry editor to add a Print command to Windows File Explorer's - right click - context menu, so I do not have to continue on to click to the Show More Option sub menu, in order to more efficiently print directly in Windows Explorer.

Now ... and pay attn here please, nice MS mod people:
    - I dont want to use a third party app, or external software to reconfigure the windows explorer app.
    - Do not copy/paste the usual reg edit instructs, that I added below ... please keep reading for what I want.

Please respond with a step by step registry edit to add a Print command onto the primary right click context menu ... BUT ...

PLEASE DONT JUST CUT/PASTE THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANY REGISTRY EDIT. Please first modify these vanilla instructions so that they are HYPER SPECIFIC just for adding a Print Button onto the primary right click context menu.

This is a registry edit, so absolute clarity is essential.
I can follow instructions, but I cant follow what I have found elsewhere here, which I added below ... its an absolute mess of generalities.

Again ... I want a hyper specific reg edit instruction set to add just a Print command to the windows file explorer right click primary context menu.

    Thank You

-------------- Found elsewhere in MS help pages:

Here are the steps to add an option to the Windows 11 main context menu:

    1. Open the registry editor. You can do this by pressing the Win + R key combination to open the Run dialog, then type "regedit" and press Enter to open the registry editor.
    2. Navigate to the following path: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell
    3. Right-click on the "shell" key, select "New" > "Key".
    4. Name the new key, which will be the name of the new option you're adding.
    5. Right-click on the new key, select "New" > "Key".
    6. Name the new subkey "command".
    7. Right-click on the "command" key, select "Modify".
    8. In the "Value data" field, enter the full path of the command you want to run. For example, if you want to run a program called "myprogram.exe", you can enter "C:\Program Files\MyProgram\myprogram.exe".
    9. Click "OK" to save the changes.
    10. Close the registry editor.
You should now see your new option in the Windows 11 main context menu.

    ------------

I dont want to run a specific app program exe, and I dont want general 'examples' ... I want to run the windows Print Command from windows file explorer right click primary context menu ... and thats all.

... do I have to say it again to be clear?

Otherwise, I would prefer to add a print icon to the ribbon ... but that be too much for MS.

change the right click "new" context menu options

How may I edit the right click context menu to add apps or options that are relevant. Right click on the desktop and a menu pops up offering to "view > ", or " sort by >" and so forth. Under right click "new > " after "folder" and "shortcut" are a list
of totally useless (to me) choices for a new Microsoft word document or data base document or a number of other Microsoft apps that I do not have or use. How may I edit the right click context menu to add apps or options that are relevant. Thank you
