Windows 10: i need to get to the answer desk and a answer tech?

I was talking to an answer tech last week; how do I get back with him?

You forgot to say which "techs at answer desk" you're talking about, but it doesn't really matter. They could be working for any company and be located in any part of the world so let's leave race and national origin out of this.

The problem is two-fold. First, people who really understand the technology and know how to explain it well are not easy to find and they won't work for peanuts. If you want excellent technical support, be ready to pay for it.

Second, if this forum is any example, most people who call on technical support really need an education in how to use a computer properly. An answer desk can't do that (nor can a community forum) and why should they when the internet is filled with detailed
instructions, tutorials, blogs, etc.

So unless you're willing to pay, what you'll get are third-party contractors reading from scripts and reference books. If that doesn't work for you then it's it time to step up and do the research on your own, which will be more satisfying because you'll
actually learn something. And once you actually learn something you'll wonder why you bothered calling the answer desk in the first place.

a lot of the techs at answer desk don't seem to know what they are doing, they follow a set of procedures and you are left hanging.

i have not tired asking for a north american tech yes, but that will be a hi priority when i get time to reconnect with them. they ask the same old questions, obviously don't read and understand the file on previous attempts . . . in a couple cases taking
to them was like pulling hens teeth. some think the customer is a tech, which in some cases is not close to being true. in some cases i was told what the problem was,,,, which i already knew . . . but do not fix it. just wish there was some way to cut out
the BS and get to the problem. they try to zero in on one problem . . forgetting that the other problems all happened at the same instance.. so they assume the wrong problem.

i can only hope i can get one of the knowledgeable american agents next time i get brave and call

Hi,

Sorry for posting here.. I am trying to work out how to submit a complaint about the Answer Desk.

Binny Kumar (answer desk tech) rebooted my computer without even asking.

His response: "He was trying to help me best he can."

This is unacceptable. I had windows open in the background and he gave no indication that he would reboot apart from telling me he would do it, and a few seconds later he did it.

Seriously.. this guy has no idea. He was trying to solve a windows activation problem.

I cannot find anywhere online where I can send this so the techs can be educated to a.s.k. first before rebooting..
