I need to install an existing old WiFi adapter USB NetGear dual band N600, WINDA3100v2 on my new used pc that has Windows 10 pro but a weak WiFi. I can't find, lost, the WiFi adapter's driver CD. Does Window 10 already have that driver in its program ? How do I find it or do I have to download it somehow from Netgear's website, I guess?

    :)

  2. Installation hangup caused by NETGEAR N600 WiFi adapter?

My PC was connected to the internet via NETGEAR N600 WiFi adapter.

Installation seemed to proceed normally, ending in a blue "Welcome Back" screen. But the "Next" button refused to work. The only thing I could get it to do was reboot, which took me back to the same hang-up.

Calls to Customer Support advised they had not encountered this error, and suggested I use original discs to start over with Windows 7. (and loose all data)

I took the machine to a Microsoft Store to see if they could fix it. Of course, I removed the NETGEAR USB device before transport. When they started it, it ran just as it should have all along.

Reconnecting the NETGEAR device at home gave me no WiFi connection. The software appears to be incompatible and the cause of the installation hang-up.

    Anyone have the same problem?

Have you found new drivers that work?

Ethernet to wifi adapters... they still exists?

Hello Pipppero, I need to install an existing old WiFi adapter Netgear N600 on my new used pc :)

If this device is a PC that has a USB port, then you could get and use a USB WiFi adapter to connect wirelessly to the router.

    Here's an example: USB WiFi Adapter | AC1200 (A6210) | NETGEAR
