I've tried many things to attempt to solve this, such as using a Restore Point, resetting my PC, resetting Microsoft Store, etc. Others have had similar problems, but none of their suggestions have worked so far.

Steam games recent list does not update

The recently used program list for the Steam computer game client never updates. It says recent but it misses actual recent games that I've played and lists games that I haven't touched for months or years. How can I investigate the reason for this list not updating? It works just fine for other programs on the Start Menu. I tried searching for information but the word "update" in the search string returns results about Steam and Windows updates and not about the recent list updating.

 

I deleted a game from my library by mistake on the windows store and it wont let me reinstall it

I deleted the game Forza Horizon 3 from my computer by mistake however the Microsoft store thinks that the game is still installed. Therefore, it will not let me reinstall the game. The game shows up in my library still and the play button is there but nothing
happens when I press it. I have tried using the same methods you guys give to other people with the same issue as me and still nothing works.

I already tried running the troubleshooter.

I tried to Press Windows + R and typed wsreset.exe

These steps did not work either:

  Press Windows + S keys on the keyboard and type cmd in the search box.
  
• 
  Right click on the Command Prompt icon from the search results and select Run as administrator.
  
• 
  On the command prompt window, write the following command, and then press Enter.
  

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

None of these solutions work to solve my issue. I hope someone is able to fix this problem for me. Thank you

• Did you download this game from Windows Store?
• Have you tried uninstalling the game on your computer?
• What other steps have you performed in trying to delete this game?
