Windows 10: I recently downloaded a virus and I dont know how to make sure my PC is safe.

I recently downloaded a virus and I dont know how to make sure my PC is safe. Somewhere it says "Trojan:Win32/Phonzy.B!ml". It also says this is a Severe threat. But for status, it said the quarantine failed. It also says the attack can execute commands. I dont know what to do, someone please answer ASAP.

Virus...NOOOOO!

Then its not a virus, i thought its a little strange that a virus was still going in safe mode. But i dont know what to suggest it could be? Are you using the same pc to connect to the internet, just with a linux partition?

 

Nasty virus/malware - dont know what - **NASTY**

I dont even bother scanning the HDD on the unit that has a virus anymore (client PC's) i just pull em and scan em on my test bench faster than dicking around with safe mode and an infected environment.

Pirated
Step 1: Find Pirated version.
Step 2: Download (which takes far longer than all the waiting for saving would take if your internet connection truly is slow)
Step 3: Scan downloaded copy with anti-virus.
Step 4: Install and pray hard that it isn't virus infected
Step 5: Install the pirating bit and pray some more that it isn't a virus
Step 6: Enjoy with above worries
Step 7: Save
