    i removed MsMpEng. how do i get it back?


    i deleted MsMpEng from D:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Platform\4.18.23050.5-0then when i go to Virus and threat protection it Said "threat service has stopped. restart it now."and all my games and app stopped working.

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.

    How to "set affinity" for msmpeng when getting "access is denied"

    Hi,

    I'm unable to set or change process affinity for msmpeng (Windows Security Virus & threat protection). I'm logged-in with admin privileges. System is Windows 10 Pro 64bit. Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.928).

    Does anyone know the steps to follow to achieve this? Thanks!
