Windows 10: i seem to have installed pro instead of home

hi all

me again

i had a problem with an update and the kind person from microsoft sorted it but to cut a long story short,he advised me to run the repair programme which i did .

i could have sworn i hadd pro installed when i bought this pc so i chose pro. now win10 wont accept this for the activation.

its rather expensive to buy pro and i dont really need it

any idea how ican go back.

it all works perfect .

just worried about updates

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Windows 10 Pro Installation Starts, Screen Goes Black, Never to Return

Suggest using the Media Creation Tool to create a USB flash drive of the latest Windows 10 Pro and boot that to install from.

Download Windows 10 ISO file

At Step 8, instead of selecting ISO file, select Flash drive, then the tool will create the bootable flash drive for you to install from.
