Hello everyone! My first post here *Smile

So, i might have a virus on my laptop and i will need your help figuring it out.
I found out about it by surprise,i just opened task manager and went to network activity to see whats accessing my internet and i found out that APSDaemon.exe , AppleMobileDeviceService.exe , Itunes.exe are using weird network address, which is Code: www.nosteam.ro[/quote] I did a little research and found out that this website was used to download cracked games (its been taken down i guess,no longer accessible)
Do i have to worry about it? should i look for a way to remove it? Can you check your task manager and see which address being used on your pc?

    :)

    I think I have a SysWOW64 virus. I really need help ASAP

You may want to send a copy of the file(s) to Virus Total for analysis: VirusTotal

Recommend you scan with the Emsisoft Emergency Kit (a free program): Как обнаружить и удалить угрозы с помощью Emsisoft Emergency Kit If
necessary boot into Safe Mode/Safe Mode with Networking to download and run the scanner or use another computer, put the EEK file on a flash drive and insert the flash drive in the infected computer...you can run the scanner from the flash drive. Other scanners
(some of which may be run in Safe Mode or from a flash drive) that may help with this issue are listed in List
    of Malware Removal Tools

    OR

Suggest you review and follow the steps in
    https://malwaretips.com/blogs/svchost-exe-virus-removal/
It may not be necessary to use Hitman Pro or Zemana but they’re available in trial versions if needed.

Or you can seek assistance from a malware removal forum such as Bleeping Computer Technical Support Forums, Malwarebytes Forums,
    Malware Removal Assistance For Windows

    or http://discussions.virtualdr.com/

Note that some users report a reset or clean install is required to eliminate the svchost.exe malware issue.

  3. I think I have a SysWOW64 virus. I really need help ASAP

    I am using Windows 10.

I have (as of yesterday) been struggling to find the cause of my slow computer. The screen pauses every other second and just works generally way slower than usual. I believe I have some sort of trojan virus. I have performed countless tests and scans with
malwarebytes and the built in windows defender. I have removed all I can find that is suspicious and the problem remains.

My main query is with the SysWOW64 folder, located in C:Windows. I had found that there were a build up of svchost.exe files, so I assumed that I had a trojan virus. All over the internet, on many forums, I saw people saying that if you have any svchost.exe
files located outside of system32, they should be considered as malware. I found one in the task manager that was located in the SysWOW64 folder and was suspicious. I saw loads of videos and posts about a SysWOW64 virus, however many people were also saying
that it is an important part of the Windows 10 operating system.

How can I find out if it is a virus?

If not, how might I go about finding the virus ASAP?

(This computer has been rendered useless at the moment and I have important work that needs doing on it)

Is it even a virus, or could it be a hardware issue/malfunction?

Many thanks - all help is sincerely appreciated,

    Billy
