    I think my Microsoft Pro keyboard is completely broken.


    Hello! First things first, thank you tenforums for making siging in so simple. I now dont have to jump over a bunch of hoops. Anyways. My microsoft pro keyboard is not working at all, i tried charging it, it wont, i tried reconnecting then connecting. Nope. And my touch screen doesnt work either. I had other problems with the thing prevously, i also see lots of other people have problems with the thing, i tried giving it a break. Didnt work, i have important files on the thing. Help would be appreciated from all! Thank you for reading! I also have a Windows 7.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond I think my Microsoft Pro keyboard is completely broken. :) Best regards.

    As per your query, I suggest you to try removing English US language pack and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps.


    • Press Windows + X on your keyboard.

    • Select Control panel.

    • Select language.

    • Click on the Option adjacent to the
      English US.

    • Click on remove under input method.
