Windows 10: I uninstalled a network driver and it reinstalled but it isnt working

My computer would connect to wifi, but would not let me join game servers. I tried for hours to fix it and nothing worked. The latest thing i saw someone on this website say to do was to uninstall the network driver and restart the pc. Now my pc wont even give me the option to connect to wifi, even though the driver was reinstalled. What do i do?

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

Network driver does not work after Windows update KB4480966

Uninstall the update KB4480966 via Windows Update.

• Search 'Windows Update settings'
  
• Select 'View update history'
  
• Select uninstall updates
  
• Select the update KB4480966
  

Restart.

The network drivers did not work for me at this point. I had to reinstall the drivers first.

Uninstall the drivers for the WLAN adapter. In my case this consisted of the following steps:

• Download the drivers for your device.
  
• Start the installer
  
• Select uninstall
  
• Restart
  

Then install the drivers and restart again.
