    Seba,

Are you logging into Dell Drivers & downloads using your Dell Service Tag?
    - Doing so should ensure that you are then downloading the correct driver for the correct hardware.
    - I'm sorry to speculate like that but the only other explanation I can think of is that your hardware became defective at the very moment you chose to uninstall its previous driver. Whilst that is not impossible, it does seem to be a huge coincidence.

    Further unwarranted speculation
    - There might be a BIOS update waiting for you in Dell Drivers & downloads [for which using your Dell Service Tag would be essential if you are to avoid trying to install the wrong BIOS]. That update might affect all your hardware including graphics drivers.
    - You might try to download & reinstall the latest Intel HD 4000 graphics driver first. Perhaps your NVidia uninstallation somehow triggered it into a fault condition that is somehow trying to masquerade as the only graphics component. I feel stupid even suggesting this.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

Have you tried the drivers from Dell for your model?

    http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/...-m6700/drivers

I've never dealt with a laptop with switchable graphics, I admit. I'm not sure which order you should install the drivers in, or whether it matters. I'd try the Intel drivers first.

I uninstalled the graphics card and now it is gone. How to undo it?

Please note it may be listed under "Other devices" or a category labeled with a question mark which don't even show up until you select "Show hidden devices".

    @SebaFranek

Try this NVidia site for drivers downloads. Read the "How this works" message, and let it try to auto detect what driver is best for your machine.

Yes, I'm using my service tag. Like i wrote above, i tried drivers from Nvidia page and Dell page. Both do not see the card.
    I have latest BIOS.
I've tried to reinstall the Intel HD software, it didn't do anything.
For me it also looks like it disappeared forever. I also reinstalled the chipset drivers and it did not help. Too much disassemble the laptop to disconnect and connect the graphics card. I will try the option with refreshing or resetting the system with ISO.

Go to the Dell website and get the drivers there is also, 1) System Analyser, 2) Detect drivers, 3) Dell driver updater application.
Plus 4) Diagnostics and 5) component tests.

Both video drivers are available for the HD 4000 and Nvidia Quadro M series. Read the notes for the supplied drivers.

Get rid of Nvidia Geforce Experience it's gamers bloatware.

Still looking....found these two specific to your specs. Have 2 links. You'll have to read the description in each to see which one ( or both) would be right.

    First is Version: R390 U4 (391.33) WHQL

    NVIDIA

    Second is Version: R387 U2 (388.16)

    NVIDIA

With all this trouble your have after a clean install with the removal of your nvidia driver......I would just start over completely with a Dell factory format.

It's likely that the "graphics card" is soldered to the motherboard, so that trying that would be futile.

Speaking of Device manager, have you tried "scan for hardware changes", which is pulldown under Action? (You may have to click in the window before the option appears.)

Thank you all for your time and help. You were brave but I had to use the ultimate weapon *Kill

I decided to do a system refresh and that was enough.

So all is working right now? GPU is happy? Curious, did you do a system refresh from the recovery options, or a repair install with ISO?

  15. Yes, everything is good. The second monitor shines like a diamond. This was a major problem, it worked on VGA but not HDMI. But it's a completely different, long story.

I used: settings > update & security > recovery > reset this PC > keep my files
