Windows 10: i use google as my browser and i seem to have lost my homepage. how do i get it back?

I use google as my browser and I seem to have lost my homepage. How do I get it back?

Internet Explorer Homepage

I am using Windows 10. Even though I put google in as my homepage, when I open IE, a different browser opens. That browser lists under the default homepage. How and where do I change this. I've tried everything I can think of to no avail. Once that browser
opens if I click on the house it switches to Google. Please help.

Google Plans a Web-browser, To be called Google Chrome

I have my FF customized exactly how i want it. iGoogle is my homepage i see some news headlines, my to-do list, weather and calender as soon as i open the browser. If Chrome has the same sort of customization then i may give it a go.
