Windows 10: I ve updated my laptop to the 2004 Windows 10 version and the screen looks dimmer.

The title... I have a laptop with the ryzen 5 3500u cpu and integrated Vega 8 graphics. I updated the windows to the 2004 new update and the screen looks way dimmer. Actual 100% looks like the previous 75%-80% and there's not much difference between actual 40% and actual 75%.

Ive checked the automatic brightness but it s off, also I tried to go back to the drivers that were previously but still nothing.

Is something wrong with my laptop? Did I missed something? or I need to wait for another update to fix this? Thank you

• Just to clarify, are you referring to a "screen dimmer" app? No the ordinary computer dimmer
  
• Did you get an error message? No
  
• Were you able to adjust the level of brightness of your computer in Windows Settings? No
  

 

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

First I am using the free / home edition of Windows 10 so maybe that is the difference between what you get and what I get?

I took your suggestion and looked at the updates. I am lost but I think the one yesterday may be the source of the killing of my Pango?

I have downloaded your two alternates but not yet installed them.

Could you give me some guidance for a workaround/ reversal?

What might the implications of a reversal?
