Windows 10: I want programs to open in background, always.

Discus and support I want programs to open in background, always. in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Hi Lets say I'm typing an email, and I know I need to open up another program, let say Photoshop.     I want programs to open in background, always.


    Hi

    Lets say I'm typing an email, and I know I need to open up another program, let say Photoshop. So I start Photoshop and continue typing my email.

    Now while Photoshop is opening up, it gives me a welcome screen. So I have to alt-Tab away from that. And then when Photoshop opens up, it takes over my whole screen and I have to focus on it. Now I have to alt-Tab away from it again so I can finish my email.

    I open and close multiple programs at the same time on my machine and this is a constant irritation.


    I'd like ALL programs I open up to not be in focus. I'll get to them in turn.

    Is there a Regedit I can do to make this happen?

    GPU not idling when program running in background

    Whenever there is a program running in background like utorrent, the clock is stuck at 993mhz and the memory at 1500mhz..when I turn it off, the clocks are back to normal...need a fix ..drivers are the latest whql (not 337.5)..clock is measured from zotac firestorm..(use it for fan curve also..works flawlessly)..any suggestions will be appreciated..

    Hi Robert,

    We understand that you don't want some apps to run on the background of your computer. What we suggest is to
    control which apps are allowed to run in the background. To see which apps have permission, just follow the below steps:

    • Open the Start menu or Start screen and select “Settings.”
    • Click or tap the “Privacy” icon in the Settings.
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select “Background apps.”
    • You’ll see a list of apps that have permission to run in the background with an “On/Off” toggle.
    Just bear in mind that, apps normally run in the background to update their live tiles, download new data, and receive notifications. If you want an app to continue performing these functions, you should allow it to continue running in
    the background.

    I want programs to open in background, always.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
